WHOIS（讀作Who is，非縮寫）是用來查詢域名的IP及所有者等信息的傳輸協(xié)議。簡單說，WHOIS就是一個(gè)用來查詢域名是否已經(jīng)被注冊(cè)，以及已經(jīng)注冊(cè)域名的詳細(xì)信息的數(shù)據(jù)庫（如域名所有人、域名注冊(cè)商、域名注冊(cè)日期和過期日期等）。通過域名Whois服務(wù)器查詢，可以查詢域名歸屬者聯(lián)系方式，以及注冊(cè)和到期時(shí)間。本文介紹實(shí)施WHOIS信息查詢的方法。
1. WHOIS查詢網(wǎng)址
通過訪問網(wǎng)址http://whois.chinaz.com/，可以快速地查詢到某域名的相關(guān)信息。在瀏覽器的地址欄中輸入網(wǎng)址http://whois.chinaz.com/，訪問成功后，顯示界面如圖1所示。

在如圖1所示的文本框中輸入要查詢的域名，并單擊“查詢”按鈕，即可獲取到對(duì)應(yīng)的信息。例如，查詢域名qq.com的相關(guān)信息。查詢完成后，顯示如圖2和圖3所示。因?yàn)闊o法截取所有信息，所以這里只截取了兩個(gè)圖。

在圖2中顯示了域名qq.com的信息，包括該域名的注冊(cè)商、聯(lián)系郵箱、電話、創(chuàng)建時(shí)間、過期時(shí)間和域名服務(wù)器等。
在圖3中顯示了域名qq.com的WHOIS信息，包括注冊(cè)域名ID、注冊(cè)WHOIS服務(wù)器、注冊(cè)的URL、更新時(shí)間和創(chuàng)建時(shí)間等。
2. 使用Whois工具
Whois工具是用來查找并顯示指定賬號(hào)（或域名）的用戶相關(guān)信息。下面介紹使用Whois工具來實(shí)現(xiàn)WHOIS信息查詢的方法。使用Whois工具的語法格式如下：
