Flight altitude deployment of UAV base station based on application scenario features description

Abstract: Due to the different geographic environment, user distribution, user requirements and performance requirements of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) base stations in different application scenarios, it is necessary to deploy UAV base stations according to the characteristics of different application scenarios. Based on the typical application scenarios of UAV base station, two representative UAV base station application scenario models are constructed, and the features of the application scenario models are described abstractly. The air ground communication transmission models of two application scenarios are constructed respectively. On this basis, the mathematical calculation model of the optimal flight height of UAV base station is given to maximize the transmission rate and the coverage of UAV. Finally, the influencing factors and changing trends of UAV base station optimal flight altitude in different scenarios are analyzed.
